Our Second Annual PAA Kids Aviation Camp is over...

This year we had the pleasure of taking twenty-two young kids - ages 8 to 13 and putting them in real time touch with aviation.  As last year, it was great to see what thirty or so older pilots will go through to be part of the aviation we gave to these girls and boys.

Why do we do it?  Because deep down inside each of us care that our thrill and secret passion for aviation be passed on to the next generation of pilots.  It is a torch which must be passed.  It is up to us to see that these fine young ladies and men receive that torch - because we care.

The camp isn't easy, it takes time, effort, and money.  The money came from those fine businesses listed on the side of this page.   I feel that those who participated in this years camp either as an instructor, kid guard, fly in pilot, or those who donated money and services deserve an "atta boy" or even more, a salute.  For without them, we couldn't have possibly put the camp on.

As this years Aviation Camp makes the history books, instead of trying to give you a complete rundown, I am going to let the photos show you how we challenged the kids to get high and higher.  No drugs.. but with wings.

Thanks all of you for allowing us to share aviation with these spirited souls...
